SC Heatmap
Click, movement and scroll heatmaps on your own WordPress: what you do with Hotjar or Clarity, without the data leaving your server.
What it does
SC Heatmap shows you how your visitors really use your pages: where they click, where they move the mouse, and at what point they stop reading. These are heatmaps that are saved in your WordPress database, without an account or external service. The heavy lifting is done in your browser when you open a map. On the website, only a small, deferred tracker that respects consent is loaded, so your visitors barely notice it. The map is drawn over your real page, not over a screenshot.
- Click and mouse movement heatmaps.
- Scroll map: the line where your readers abandon.
- "Confetti" view: each click colored according to when it occurred.
- Separate maps for desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Respects consent and masks forms.
- Free and unlimited on WordPress.org; PRO with session recording.

Why use it in your WordPress
Hotjar and Clarity send your visitors' behavior to third-party servers; SC Heatmap keeps it on yours. It only detects Complianz, Cookiebot and Consent Mode v2, respects Do Not Track and masks what is written in forms. The free version does not set limits on pages, events or time. The PRO adds session recording, element report and a weekly email summary.
